We are generally concerned with individual & group health insurance mainly for the yachting industry and we pride ourselves in changing our industry for the better of our clients, by bucking trends and refusing to stand still like most other insurance firms. We work with carriers and insurance companies all over the world to constantly upgrade and develop new products for the future, with better benefits and lower costs for crew and the yachting industry in general.

Azure Yacht Crew Health’s mission has been clear from the start; we are an insurance broker, which means that we work for and protect our clients, not insurance companies.

Claire Murray French
CEO
Claire Murray French is CEO and Partner of Azure Yacht Crew Health.After graduating University from Oxford, United Kingdom with a BSC Honors Degree in Hotel, Hospitality & Catering Management, Claire worked in various hospitality managerial positions worldwide as well as taking Chief Stewardess, Chef and Purser positions on board some of the world’s most prestigious private and commercial megayachts.
Having sailed the world establishing massive experience with the global yacht industry and with her organizational expertise & qualifications in law, accountancy & management, Claire is now settled in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Stephen Beck
COO / Maritime Health
Steve Beck has worked in the Insurance & Financial Services industries for the past 25 years. Previously he served as a Vice President of a Park Avenue based insurance brokerage where he ran their Benefits Division via their West Palm Beach office. He also managed the Life and Health Division specializing in Maritime Crew.
Being “client-centric” is an important philosophy which couples nicely with his vast knowledge of employee benefits and extensive experience with Medicare, Retirement Planning, and Life Insurance.
Stephen is from the St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and now lives in Dania Beach, Florida.
Nigel Beatty
Partner
British Nigel Beatty is ex- Royal Navy and an ex-super yacht captain and lives in UK, Monaco and Japan.
As well as a partnership in Azure Yacht Crew Health, he also owns the SYL Group, which comprises of various companies in locations around the world including Florida, Japan, Monaco and Australia.
Nigel is the Chairman of the Asia Pacific Superyacht Association.
James Andrews
CFO
James Andrews [Jimmy] has a long career spanning the Atlantic providing financial services in both the UK and the USA; and also with a wealth of understanding of financial systems worldwide.
Jimmy handles all of Azure Yacht Crew Health’s due diligence, accounting, corporate income tax, employees payroll, audits and reviews, for SGRM offices both in the United States, Europe and also other bases of operation around the world.
Hamish Chilvers
Sales - USA and International
Hamish is experienced in the insurance industry as well as being skilled in sailing, maritime operations, marine survey, and international shipping.
He is a professional yachtsman, racing tactician and navigator for sail racing worldwide. Originally from UK he lives in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Minh Nguyen
Sales - International
Minh has worked in the yachting industry for over 20 years both onboard large yachts and ashore in industry support roles. She is very experienced with yacht and crew operations.
Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Minh now is based in yachting centers around the world, such as Monaco, France, Italy, Florida and the Caribbean.
